Amendments to the ITE SF Bay Area Section Bylaws

VOTING is underway! The San Francisco Bay Area Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is proposing amendments to its current set of Bylaws to help the Section better serve the needs of its members. To be adopted, the changes must be approved by a 2/3 majority vote of ballots cast by the eligible voting membership. Copies of the original and amended bylaws highlighting the proposed changes are available online (see below).

If you are an eligible voting member of the ITE SF Bay Area Section, we need YOUR VOTE on these proposed amendments. Official ballots were sent to the list of eligible voting members on February 22, 2007. If you did not receive your official ballot in the mail, please contact Secretary-Treasurer Wing Lok at wl@sfbayite.org or (510) 286-4611 to check your membership status. If your ballot has been misplaced or damaged, pleased download and print another copy here.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CASTING YOUR VOTE

Please cast your vote by following five simple steps:

Please mark your choices on the OFFICIAL BALLOT. Only one box may be marked for each amendment. If you make a mistake, simply print out a new copy and discard the old one. DO NOT sign the ballot or write any identifying information on the ballot itself.
Place the completed ballot within a blank envelope, called the "Ballot Envelope." Each voting member may submit only one ballot, and each member's ballot must be submitted in its own Ballot Envelope.
Seal the Ballot Envelope and sign across the flap with your signature. Write your ITE membership ID number legibly on the outside of the Ballot Envelope.
Fold the sealed, signed Ballot Envelope and place within the enclosed Return Envelope. (Please note that your ITE membership ID number has been provided on the return address label of the Return Envelope. If you did not receive this in the mail, please contact Wing Lok at wl@sfbayite.org or (510) 286-461 for your membership ID information.)
