Hydrogen Fuel Technology and Intelligent Transportation Systems
Thursday, March 16, 2006
Increasing fuel prices and environmental concerns have initiated a trend to investigate alternative sources of energy. The federal government and the State of California have taken the initiative to develop hydrogen as a long-term energy storage medium. This joint ITE/EBTE presentation provides an assessment of hydrogen as a fuel and explains the ongoing efforts to improve hydrogen and fuel cell technologies to make hydrogen a major energy contributor. The session will also explore the potential for synergies between two rapidly evolving areas of advanced transportation and energy technology: hydrogen/fuel cells and intelligent transportation systems. Come and join us for the joint ITE/EBTE meeting to learn the latest about these technologies.
