Caltrain Project 2025
A Peek at Peninsula Rail Travel in 20 Years

In August, Caltrain released a preview of its system-wide capital improvement plan, known as Project 2025, a strategic plan for rail service on the Peninsula in 20 years. Improvements in this multi-billion dollar undertaking will include the new Dumbarton rail line across the bay, increased Baby Bullet service, more trains, new grade separations, and station platform improvements. Robert Doty has world-wide experience with rail systems. Don’t miss his enthusiasm for making Caltrain a world-class rapid rail transit system.

This joint meeting will also feature presentation of the 2006 ITE/SBTOA Transportation Awards: Project of the Year, and Professional of the Year.
