Last November, California voters approved state Proposition 1B, the $20 billion Transportation Infrastructure Bond measure. How was the broad language on the ballot translated into funding allocations among competing regions and agencies, and to specific highway congestion relief and transit projects and other programs? Join us at this meeting for a peak into some of the inner workings of this political process, from a key player in Bay Area transportation policy. Randy Rentschler of MTC will share with us the highlights of this dynamic process, and what it means for funding of transportation improvements in the region.
