At this meeting, Jim Helmer, Director of Transportation for the City of San Jose will share how San Jose is taking its Green Mobility goals from policy to practice, and provide real examples of what San Jose is doing to improve mobility, the quality of life and economy in Silicon Valley.

Matt Nichols, Principal Transportation Planner for the City of Berkeley will discuss the sustainable transportation plans and programs in Berkeley. Matt will briefly discuss Berkeley's Fleet Carsharing Program (recipient of the "Top 50" Innovations in American Government Award" (PDF)), Bicycle Boulevards, Pedestrian Master Plan, Bus Rapid Transit, and Berkeley's Climate Action Plan (BerkeleyClimateAction.org).

Boxed lunches will be served including a sandwich, chips, chocolate chip cookie, and bottled water.
