Fellow ITE Members,
I am pleased to invite you to the 2006 Charity and Scholarship Golf Tournament, hosted by the San Francisco Bay Area Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). The tournament will be held at the
Monarch Bay Golf Club
in San Leandro on Friday, June 2, 2006. Since 1997 the San Francisco Bay Area ITE section has hosted six golf tournaments. Last year’s event raised nearly $1,600.00. The proceeds were donated to the ITE Section’s student scholarship fund and
Katie’s Clinic for Rett Syndrome in Oakland.

This year’s golf tournament will benefit both the ITE scholarship fund and
Trips for Kids based in San
Rafael. Trips for Kids is a non profit charity that provides bike rides,
mentoring, job training, and many other educational activities for inner city
children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy all that the
outdoors has to offer.
