Time to TEE UP for ITE Golf!

ITE is teaming up with the American Public Works Association (APWA - Northern California Chapter) for the 2009 Golf Tournament at Oakland's Lake Chabot Golf Course on Friday, July 17, 2009.

Registration Forms are now available! Send a four-person team or sponsor a hole on the course. Note: Sign-Ups are due by July 3rd or before the event sells out. The tournament is limited to the first 72 players registered.

Last year the City and County of San Francisco was the only representative of ITE, sending SIX formidable teams that walked away with an enviable assortment of prizes. Understandably, there are some who may be afraid to play against the juggernaut that is the City and County of San Francisco, but we hope that some of ITE's other agencies and firms will summon the courage this year!

The ITE SF Bay Area Section would like to thank Andrew Poster of Republic Electric and to his predecessor, Joe Oliva of the City of Milpitas, who hosted the ITE Golf Tournament for many years. Their efforts have greatly benefitted ITE members, future transportation students, and other charitable organizations in the area. So if you see Joe or Andy at a transportation event, be sure to give them a big THANK YOU!
